I work with children and their families in Alanya Oba, opposite Alkü Hospital, on the everyday activities that make up a child's day — playing, eating, dressing, moving and taking part at school. Sessions and family conversations can be held in English.
Training and background
I graduated from the Occupational Therapy programme at Medipol University. In Turkey the title of occupational therapist belongs only to graduates of this four-year health sciences degree. Alongside my degree I have trained in the S.O.S. Approach to Feeding and in DIR Floortime, both of which shape how I work with children around mealtimes and play.
How I work
Play is the method, not a reward
Children show their real abilities when they are engaged. Sessions are built around play and meaningful activity rather than repetitive drills at a table.
No diagnosis, no promises of a cure
An occupational therapist does not diagnose. What I can offer is a clear picture of where your child is struggling in daily life and a realistic plan for what to work on.
What a first assessment looks like

- 3We talk through what supports participation and what gets in the way.

Tuğçe Turunç Occupational Therapy Centre, Ofis 2020 Business Centre, No:8 Floor:3 Flat:11, Oba, Alanya — directly opposite Alkü Hospital. Families travel to us from Tosmur, Kestel, Mahmutlar, Cikcilli, Konaklı and the surrounding neighbourhoods. Open from 09:00 on weekdays.
